Months after state officials proposed practically shutting Central Texas out of a plan to divvy up millions of dollars related to a Volkswagen emissions cheating scandal, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has released a revised allocation that will direct $16.3 million to Austin and neighboring communities.
